Audio visual equipment and lighting installation
Preparation for the second fix phase of the restoration and transformation of Braunstone Hall in Leicestershire has now been completed, prior to the installation of cutting edge lighting systems for the two ballrooms and a glazed courtyard which is being drawn into the heart of the facility as part of the refurbishment work.
SES are providing and installing a comprehensive array of audio visual equipment to enable the cutting edge audio design and a comprehensive, versatile, computer controlled mood enhancing system of LED lighting.
Audio will be required throughout the facility – and will feature both local and overall master control. Category (Cat) 6 cabling is being deployed throughout, having the advantages of benefiting from a more stringent specification for crosstalk and system noise than Cat 5, whilst still being backwards compatible.
The video side of the project will be supported with Kramer cabling switching and infrastructures.

“Two ballrooms have been added, a new restaurant is taking shape and even the new bridal suites are starting to look like the real thing” according to the Leicester Mercury, which had recently provided an updated report on the project.
